She soon taught herself how to throw her voice and make different voices for each of her puppets. She has a collection of over 20 puppets, some of which she made herself. Sandy Netburn started playing guitar when she was 12, and violin when she was 14. She learned how to play by ear and by watching videos of her favorite musicians. She can play a variety of genres, such as rock, pop, blues, and country. She also sings and writes her own songs. She shares her music and ventriloquism across social media as wel las on her podcast Sandy and Friends.
